Hello everyone,
This is Rachael, Jeff's Daughter. This video was created by my family in February and it was played at my dad's Memorial Service after his passing on May 6th. If you have any problems viewing this please let me know. I have made an extra copy that we can forward in the mail and pass on to the next person that may have trouble viewing this. As for my family, today was the last day of out of town family leaving to the airport. So, the house was pretty quiet today. My mom plans to take off another week or two from work. I'm not too sure if I should go back to work this week yet. My brother (Jamie) was very helpful around all the family and he has several personal goals he plans to meet throughout this year.
We all know Daddy is watching us, so we are doing the best we can to continue to make him proud. Jeff's grandbabies are helping us smile everyday and even frown when we need to discipline the little arguments kids always have together. LOL
We plan to spread his ashes tomorrow over water as he wished us to do. We plan to go to our favorite lake where last summer dad decided to hop on the jetski and dump my mom in the water!! We had soo much fun that day even though dad had to take several pain meds afterwards he talked about that day for months after.
Mom didn't plan to go in the water that day but I also decided to hop on the jetski and we also dumped off in the middle of the lake (not planned). My dad was laughing sooo hard since it took us several tries to get back on the jetski!

Dearest Valerie, Rachel, and Jamie -- What a beautiful tribute to such a special person. Jeff was a rock to all of us at cca.org. I truly hope that Jeff and my precious husband Brad are reminiscing in heaven about their extraordinary lives and about those who loved them so.

ReplyDeleteI am Jeff's cousin, Marlene,The picture in the slideshow of the whole family brought back so many wondferful memories of Jeff and the family get togethers we had growing up. Someone building a new hom, all of us kids clearing the trees from the land. Jeff was such a sweet person growing up with. I had no idea of his passing, God bless you all. God called for a special angel on May 19th and who else could that be that,answered but Jeff. My heart goes out to all his family, thank you for the memories.
